Donna Oser, CAE

A passionate believer in the power of associations to connect and serve members, Donna Oser was appointed President & CEO of the Michigan Society of Association Executives in December of 2019. A long-time member and volunteer for the society, Oser was eager to bring her collaborative approach to leadership and diverse association experience to assist the Board of Directors in MSAE’s reinvention.

With a track record of delivering exceptional service to association members spanning two decades, Oser previously served as deputy executive director for the Michigan Association of School Boards where she and her team took member services and programs to new heights of performance and profitability. Before joining MASB in 2013, Donna served as CEO of Vital Associations (2011-2013), assistant director of the Michigan Association of Secondary School Principal (2007-2012) and executive director of the Michigan PTA (2000-2007).

Donna received extensive training in public engagement and facilitation from the Institute of Cultural Affairs and National PTA. She studied leadership, strategy, and management at Michigan State University (MSML, 2017) as well as accounting (ABA, 2010) and business (BBA, 2012) at Cleary University. She currently serves on several local and statewide nonprofit boards. In her spare time, Donna reads voraciously, enjoys kayaking and spending time with family and friends.
