Description

Creating a personally, professionally and organizationally diverse Board of Directors is critical to improving decision-making and achieving the association's DEI goals. Informed by Association Laboratory's sector research identifying the principal governance challenges and based, in part, on Association Laboratory's white paper, Creating and Sustaining a Strategic Board of Directors, this webinar will give you insight into how to create and sustain a more effective leadership funnel.

This webinar covers the following:

  • What are the 5 most important changes in the business envirionment and how do these changes impact the leadership environment for associations?
  • What does association sector research tell us are the primary governance and leadership barriers to success?
  • What are the 6 factors that most contribute to poor decision-making?
  • What are the 4 concepts essential to driving a successful, ethical and representative leadership funnel strategy

You can also expect several interactive polls, breaks for you to check on family/work, and the opportunity to connect with fellow attendees.

Attendees will receive:

  • Complimentary Looking Forward Dashboard Access - The Looking Forward Dashboard is the association sector's most comprehensive source for primary association sector research. You can review the most recent and useful association sector research on the factors impacting members, the challenges they create and the solutions pursued by associations to adapt. Customize the data to your needs and download a report to guide discussions with your staff and volunteer leadership.
  • Free White Paper: Leading Strategic Change in Associations - This research-based, peer-driven white paper outlines recommendatoins from 25 CEOs on how to successfully lead strategic change.
  • CAE Credit - Certificate for one CAE credit (live attendance required)

Register for three "Looking Forward Together" workshops and one of them is free, or join us for six workshops and receive two free. Or better yet, join us for all nine and receive three free! Any senior member of your team may register and last-minute transfers are no problem. Life is complicated enough right now, we want this to be easy.
