Description

Engagement, like irony, is something we know when we see it. But how we define it drives the strategies we use, especially when it comes to gaining the attention of those new to their career. Join Association Laboratory Feb. 13, from 9 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. as we define engagement, examine the competition you have to reaching those early to their career, and identifying what information you have – or don’t have – on this audience and walk away with three tangible next steps to work on when you leave the event.

Learning Objectives:

  • Define what engagement means for your association
  • Identify the challenges and opportunities of reaching those new to their career
  • Understand the information you have – and need to have – about this audience
  • Identify three steps you can take to start to build an engagement plan to reach this audience

Learning Methods:

  • Presentations: Short, focused presentations will introduce strategic frameworks and real-world examples.
  • Table Discussions: Group discussions will allow participants to explore challenges and solutions collaboratively.
  • Table Exercises: Practical, hands-on exercises will help attendees create actionable strategies they can apply to engagement with those new to their career.
  • Group Sharing: Tables will present their insights, promoting peer learning and shared knowledge.

The “Table Talk” format encourages group collaboration, peer learning and strategic thinking.
