Description

Thanks to the Looking Forward® Impact survey, we have a sense of how our current environment is impacting association members.

This event will examine the logical next question-- given the situation association members are in, how will this impact association strategy? What are the challenges associations face to their strategies and business model as they endeavor to carry out their Mission?

Previously part of the Looking Forward Impact survey, these Challenges questions have been spun off into their own survey to make each survey shorter and easier to take.

Later this year, the Looking Forward Solutions survey will follow up on these challenges with a look at what associations are doing to deal with the challenges they face.

Dean West, FASAE and a leading Futurist for the association community, will familiarize you with data from Looking Forward
® 2024 Challenges survey. The research covers many areas of potential challenge, including member retention and acquisition, face-to-face and virtual meetings and events, education strategy, DEI initiatives, and more.

Attendees will:
•    Understand the challenges facing association strategy
•    Identify the commonalities among associations
•    Utilize custom reporting to facilitate conversations that are unique to your Board or staff with access to the complimentary Looking Forward® Dashboard

Looking Forward
® Challenges is the most current and comprehensive investigation into the challenges impacting associations and their strategies. This presentation will provide you with an interpretation of the new data and understanding of how associations are being affected by the outside factors influencing members. In addition, there will be a panel discussion so you may hear from your peers how they view and use the data with their volunteer leaders and staff.

The Looking Forward
® series of surveys is the longest-running association sector research project, providing industry-leading data and research since 2012.
